Cargo being unloaded from paddle steamers and barges on the Darling River, Bourke, NSW. One paddle steamer has signage "Rodney, Sydney", another has "Lady of the Lake". The "Rodney" was built at Echuca in 1875 and was famous for having been burned at Cuthero on the Darling during the shearer's strike in the early 1890s. The "lady of the Lake" was built at Moama in 1880.
